On Wednesday, 31st July, GOC Care presented a Diabetes Information Session for the general community and GOC Care clients.
Consultant Pharmacist, Emmanuel Pippos delivered a very informative and eye-opening presentation regarding prevention and the management of diabetes at home.
GOC Care’s Clinical Care Coordinator, Denita Kingsley, explained her role and how she is available to assist clients who have been approved a Home Care Package to achieve optimal health and to manage their medications safely.
We had a full-house which is an indication of how many people are affected by diabetes and the significant impact it has in their lives ( every day 60 Queenslanders are diagnosed with type 2 diabetes alone, not including Type 1 and gestational diabetes)
