Philia Support Services
GOC Care’s Philia Support Services provide in-home care, and support services in community life, for those living with a disability. Our services also provide 24-hour respite visits at Philia House, for children and young people aged up to 26 years. Our aim is to help you better enjoy your home and community life.
The services provided by Philia Support Services are presently provided on a fee-for-service basis, and are included in the NDIS funded program.
In-home and community support services
– assist children and adults with daily care needs and to learn independent living skills.
– provide support to participate in community activities of your choice.
– short-term breaks for carers of young persons with a disability, which provides positive learning experiences for the young person staying at Philia House. Respite care can be provided up to 4 weeks a year.
– in-home care, either to support the person with a disability during busy times at home or time away from home.
An extension of our Philia House respite service is our short break holiday program, which provides a weekend away for small groups, on a fee for service basis. This holiday experience can also be provided for one person.
